One Million Steps in One Year
Its true, I walk a lot. Nearly twenty years ago, I was in an pedestrian vehicle accident. The car hit me and for whatever it was I just could not believe it was happening.
Twenty Years I am still walking. After surgery and rehabilitation. Prior to the accident I walked all over San Francisco from Crissy Field to City Hall to Fourth and King. I thought nothing of it.
In January I walked a lot and I was happy to do so.
You can see that my step count varied and yet was consistent
June of 2024 was the month I walked the most and while the weather was great you can see I really put in 10 miles that month. On average and with varying degrees I was doing about 10 miles a month. So, over the course of year I did 130 miles walking or just over One Million Steps or so.
My most productive day was 18,000 steps
I have run through about four pairs of shoes.
I have finally gotten rid of one pair of leggings.
I appreciate foot baths more and more.
I do not know what 2025 will look like but, I am grateful to be walking far and wide.
