Wine Closet : Something Sparkly

 If I don't look twice I look all the time. Its a sad reality I have when I try to seek out certain producers of wine and try their product repeatedly. 

So, you know I was so happy to see the McBride Sisters  at Trader Joe's . I got the white and rose but, I admit I am partial to the rose sparkles if just because its refreshing even on a warm winter day in San Jose. 

We were blessed with delicious blue sky and a cool breeze and that was all I needed to open up a little bubbly. It was not super sweet infact I found it a little too cold and cement but after warming it up in my hands the sparkling wine revealed notes of strawberry and white flowers. 

I enjoyed it with french fries which were perfect to remember what democracy is like.
