Old Phone Apps

Earlier this Spring I had to get a new phone in part because the gravity that we must abide took out my old phone. Its an investment and I did get the cracked screen repaired. Yet, the number of apps on the old phone that I still persistently need to consult is numerous and annoying. Not to mention my new phone needs an memory card so that I can transfer all the apps over or I have to back up the phone and please do not get me started on the amount of useless pictures I have in my Google Cloud Storage.

Its not a lot of things that I had to figure out when I got a new phone except I didn't have my Starbucks or my Medical and do not make me remember my password for Safeway app. I was not even thinking about the transit app for Santa Cruz Metro.

No, the apps that I desperately needed was the one with the MLB for a baseball game or the bank app for that credit card payment or yes, I need to contact BART police ... My Gym membership really should end I have to deal with that this summer and get it taken care of.

Yet, the 2 Factor Authentication would be my achilleas heel in so many instances. I couldn't open my phone and I didn't use my email in several cases and next to calling from an unrecognized number to access my accounts well, I would give you some tips on that some other time.

For all the applications in the world we need to have the one application I never thought I would need was to access my oven.

I am not kidding when the oven gave an error code I was asked to utilize the telephone number that I registered the product with to download an app to diagnose the problem with the oven.

Folks, this isn't convenience this isn't a way to do business and yes, my oven finally worked but trust me when I type this ... don't download another Application unless you absolutely have to.

Sincerely.
