Picture This! Food Pictures to lose weight?
In some attempt at avoiding exercise I was challenged to take pictures of my food. This is slightly defeated by the fact the memory on my phone and in my storage is only a few GB big and well, sadly, I eat a lot.
This is somewhat truth telling in that you can not out run a bad diet and if you are not exercising you are probably eating. In my case, I am usually commuting to and fro work, volunteering or grocery shopping. Alas, here is some pictures of food because that is what this new #diet is about.
Now, the hard part is the context of the picture. The place and time it was taken. You see, I have taken lots of pictures of food but, was it for an event? Was it for breakfast and did I enjoy it. Thus, when I got an warning on the memory being full I started to look at what was taking up so much digital space.
Let's just be honest here and admit there is more pictures than actual context.
I do not know how many actual cups of coffee I have pictures of but, I have taken a lot of them. In part because of the design but, even then from different purveyors I saw the same design ( so much for originality ). Equally, how hard is it to make coffee or a mocha? Its Espresso, Milk, chocolate in some combination though I do find those who add the dollop of whipped cream to be my favorite.Next, the Bagel v. Croissant battle rages on. At one place they have these decadent sourdough bagels that when toasted and slathered with cream cheese can make the world seem right. Then there is the warm croissant with the flakes that pop off at the first bite and fall all over my clothes.
Someone somewhere made a croissant donut but, donuts do stand apart because those always have chocolate involved.
The Vegetarian meals versus plates of BBQ and more delicious food that I have enjoyed. I could talk about the prices of the meals and the variety of food ( isn't that is what is good for a diet???) I could talk about the purveyors of cuisine and the popularity versus the reality. Every day at work I go and pick up lunch for my co workers and every day there seems to be this quandary of what to get. To state that we are surrounded by food is an manifestation of the reality we are in a food utopia. Still, there is always some hem and haw about what to have for lunch. And yet, they still can not figure out where to get lunch or what to have.
Where I make most of meals now and days so, its a literal treat for me to have a coffee and bagel or go to and eat breakfast or enjoy a day away and having tacos.
Yet, I am stuck at one weight and trying to lose it hence here is some more pictures not necessary recent
