What is Space to Rent?

 In 2025, I spent the year stalking the rental market in San Francisco Bay Area. From real estate to property management; from rooms to rent to ADU's; An SRO was even in the mix. 

I learned so much that confirmed my suspicions and yet, in part because I had an existing rental agreement I stayed put. One reason was my credit score, even renting a room you need to have a good credit score because that really tells the landlord that you clean up the dishes. 

Aside from a credit score that was unfathomable you needed to have an insane amount of money to just be considered to rent with some property management companies insisting on 5x the rental amount earned after taxes for your co-signer! FIVE TIMES THE RENT ! 

From 56ft to a Master Bedroom the rental housing market is pushing me to leave California but even if I go to Mexico I have to deal with infrastructure issues and a language barrier. 

At least I am still learning on Duolingo? What is the app to find a place to live?
